This is our third consecutive report for Sun Microsystems. This year we shifted focus to a more significant online experience and created a smaller print component piece to minimize the environmental impacts of the report. The focus shift to the web enabled us to explore new ways to achieve stakeholder engagement. Following the trend led by blogs in creating a deeper and more authentic experience for readers, we incorporated a feature that enables comments directly on the report. Readers can now submit publicly-visible questions (and statements) about the content and receive answers (and comments) directly from Sun, a company already known for its efforts in transparency.
